We held an open Executive meeting on Wednesday 5 December - It was great to see non-executive members attending and many ideas were shared for the 2019 season. We are very happy to announce the appointment of Mykel Smith and Kerrie Schmidt as our Division 1 Coaches for 2019. Both Mykel and Kerrie have known each other for many years and will be working closely together and with our lower division coaches to ensure consistency of high impact training sessions across all divisions.
Some feedback from 2019 Coaches include an earlier start to training to ensure we start well prepared.. therefore please look at the date grabbers and mark them on your calendar!

One of our own
We'd like to share a beautiful article written about the loss felt by the family of one of our members, Gareth Richardson.
Rachel Richardson, Gareth's wife, passed away in her sleep after developing a common cold in mid 2016. This happened without warning and an explanation only arose in late September.
Gareth's resilience and strength in this hard time has been an inspiration to everyone around him. It is an honour to have Gareth as a part of Capri Sharks.
You can view the article in the Gold Coast Bulletin.
