About Us

Capri Sharks Hockey Club was established in 1988 as a Veteran's club and originally known as Capri Cannons Hockey Club. The original home ground and clubhouse was located at Isle of Capri, Surfers Paradise. Over the years, we have had great success in the Senior hockey competition on the Gold Coast.

The club is built around the values of integrity, longevity and transparency. We aim to provide a focus on quality coaching, a friendly family atmosphere and enduring friendship.

We now play over the weekend in Keith Hunt Park on Musgrave Avenue in Southport, Queensland. We pride ourselves on being a diverse and welcome people of all ages to join the club. We play in a number of divisions within the Gold Coast Hockey Association's men and women's senior and junior competitions. The season runs from March until September, with registration taking place in February.
